Introduction[]

Due to the stretched out war, the Government of the Time has given out orders for the Saniwa for a special mission. To investigate the forsaken world of the Keichou Kumamoto in which its history had been reformed.

Differences based on previous progress[]

This is a rerun of the first Special Investigation: Keichou Kumamoto. Depending on the progress in the previous SI: Keichou Kumamoto, the investigation starting point and/or sword sortie restrictions will differ.

  • Even if you have already obtained Jizou Yukihira and Kokindenjunotachi as a login present, their existence will not effect the progress of the event, since SI: Keichou Kumamoto is purely dependent on the your participation progress of the event itself.

Did not participate in SI: Keichou Kumamoto or did not obtain both Jizou Yukihira and Kokindenjunotachi from SI: Keichou Kumamoto[]

  • Investigation starting point:
    • As like in SI: Keichou Kumamoto, the event will start from the beginning.
    • The recollection of the event scenes will run after your first login after the maintenance for the event.

Obtained Jizou Yukihira from SI: Keichou Kumamoto but did not obtain and Kokindenjunotachi[]

  • Investigation starting point:
    • The recollection of the relevant event scenes depending on your progress will run after your first login after the maintenance for the event.
    • You will be able to obtain Kokindenjunotachi which you did not get in the previous SI: Keichou Kumamoto after you clear the Passage of Darkness.
  • Sortie Restrictions:
    • You cannot sortie Kokindenjunotachi in SI: Keichou Kumamoto until he is obtained from the event.

Obtained both Jizou Yukihira and Kokindenjunotachi from the previous SI: Keichou Kumamoto []

  • Investigation starting point:
    • You will restart at the point as if you have just cleared the special investigation. You will be able to access the secret path from the beginning of the event.
    • Kokindenjunotachi has a rare chance to be obtained as a drop from defeating the Boss of the Passage of Darkness.
    • Jizou Yukihira has a rare chance to be obtained as a drop from defeating the Last Boss of Kumamoto Castle Citadel Court.
    • Although you will receive a introduction scene the first time you login after the event starts, other recollection scenes which you have already obtained will not be played out.
  • Sortie Restrictions:
    • There shall be no sortie restrictions.

BunkyuuTosahan-ActionCounter

Counter on top left side of the map

In order to move between the nodes in Special Investigation: Keichou Kumamoto, you will need moves. One move from the action counter will allow you to move one node. You can add to your allowed moves by rolling a die in your possession. You can have up to six dice, and three dice will be replenished at 5:00 and 17:00 JST each time, regardless of the number you have before that time. You can also use Lucky 7 Dice in place of normal dice to add to your action counter.

  • These dice are not replenishable by using koban.
  • If you have remaining moves after defeating the final boss node, the remainder moves will be inherited when you re-enter the event and restart from the first node again.

About Nodes[]

In Special Investigation: Keichou Kumamoto, with the exception of the start node and final boss nodes, it is possible to return to any node that you have stepped on before. KeichouKumamoto-Entrance Key

Entrance Key

Kumamoto Castle has a locked node. To enter it, you must collect four keys. The four entrance keys are scattered around Kumamoto Castle.

  • Entrance keys can be collected after defeating the enemies at Watchtower Enemy nodes.
  • Watchtower Enemy nodes are the ones that have already been indicated by the dark orange color on the map.
  • After the battle, the key will be collected and the Watchtower Enemy node will become a Retreat node.

Passage of Darkness[]

When you enter the Passage of Darkness, you are surrounded by complete darkness. You can only see as far as one node away from you. Increase your visibility to a maximum of 2 nodes away by collecting lanterns from defeating the Lantern Enemies nodes. Choose your steps carefully while collecting lanterns to increase visibility and march towards the Kumamoto Castle Citadel Court map entrance. The Kumamoto Castle Citadel Court entrance node is on the far right of the Passage of Darkness and its position can be confirmed through drag scrolling to the end of the map.

  • Visibility range
    KeichouKumamoto-Visibility
    • Without any lanterns, the visibility range is 1 node around you.
    • As you traverse through the map, you see Enemy nodes with a faded enemy node icon above them. These are the Enemy Lantern nodes that drops Lanterns upon defeating them which you will be able to collect.
    • One Lantern increases your visibility to 1.5 nodes. Two Lanterns increases your visibility to 2 nodes.
    • You can increase your visibility up to two times. Picking up any more Lanterns will not increase the range.
    • Lantern Enemy nodes turn into regular Enemy nodes after you collect the Lantern.
KeichouKumamoto-Lantern

Lantern

  • The Lanterns have a use limit. After three actions, the Lantern will flicker and go out, reducing your visibility. If you pick-up another Lantern before consuming three actions, you reset the limit.
    • If you have one Lantern and collect a second before using three actions, the range expands to 2 nodes and the remaining actions counter resets.
    • If you have two Lanterns and collect a third before consuming three actions, the range does not change; it stays at 2. However, your action counter does reset.
  • While in the Passage of Darkness, the path you have taken will remain visible even after you have moved away. However, if you withdraw and re-enter the map, the nodes and path will reset.
    • There are no Retreat nodes.
    • The layout of the paths will change each time you re-enter.

Defeating the Final Boss[]

  • Once you defeat the Final Boss in Kumamoto Castle Citadel Court, your investigation result will be "Mission Complete".
