Introduction[]

The route to the abandoned world of the Jurakutei whose history has been changed is currently open for a certain period of time. The Government of Time directs all saniwas to send out parties to investigate and destroy the enemies at Jukakutei in year 1590. For this operation, an Investigator will accompany you for ranking purposes. Should you obtain the rank of [Excellent], you will be rewarded with Yamanbagiri Chougi.

How to Play[]

181031 EventHowToPlay

The event map is accessible by clicking event banner in the frontline menu. Because there is a possibility that Special Investigation: Jurakutei will span over a long time period, the first team headed by your secretary sword cannot be used. In addition, swords whose team is currently in a Jurakutei investigation will not be usable for following activities:

  • Sortie to normal maps
  • Expedition
  • PvP
  • Team formation change
  • Dismantling
  • Repair
  • Refinery
  • Ranbu level training

Action Selection[]

There are some actions that can be selected in the event map which will determine your next course of action.

Jurakutei RollDice
Rolling the dice
Uses a dice that you have on hand, will add to the action counter you have according to the number displayed on the dice.
Jurakutei Recover

Warning! Swords or troops that have been destroyed in battle will not recover.

Action Counter[]

Jurakutei mapcounter

Counter on top left side of the map

Moving between the nodes in Special Investigation: Jurakutei will consume one action counter. You can add to your allowed moves by rolling a dice in your possession. You can have up to two dice, which will replenish naturally at 5:00 and 17:00 JST to the maximum limit regardless of the number you have before that time. You can also use Lucky 7 Dice in place of normal dice to add to your action counter. These dice are not replenishable by using koban.

About Nodes[]

In Special Investigation: Jurakutei, with the exception of the start node and the Jurakutei Citadel node, it is possible to return to a node that you have stepped on before. Even if it is a node that you have cleared, stepping on it again will trigger events. Below are the types of node you can encounter:

Double EXP node
Will double the experience points you get in the next Jurakutei battle node.
Recovery node
Recover the health points of Touken Danshi and equipped troops.
Jurakutei Citadel entrance node
Moves you to the Jurakutei Citadel.
Secret path node
Enables you to use the secret path that will appear in map after getting an “Excellent” grade.
Enemy node
Pits you in a battle against enemy soldiers. The number of enemies varies within nodes.
Boss node
Starts a battle against boss enemy. After defeating the boss, it will turn into a recovery node and become a returning point. Furthermore, right after you beat the boss, your team will be allowed to return to citadel while keeping the action counter at time. Team that comes back in this condition will not have their activities in the citadel restricted as mentioned under the [How to Play] section.
Last boss node
Puts you in a battle against the last boss and conduct an evaluation.

Returning Point[]

After defeating the boss, it will turn into a recovery node and become a returning point. The last returning point you create will become the place you return to when you come back to Jurakutei after selecting the [Retreat] action or lost in a battle.

About the Map[]

In Special Investigation: Jurakutei, you cannot pass through nodes that are covered by clouds. If certain conditions are met, certain parts the cloud will clear according to the condition cleared:

  • Clear all nodes in Outer Capital (洛外)
  • Clear all nodes in Inner Capital (洛中)
  • Clear all nodes inside the Jurakutei Interior (聚楽第内部)
  • Defeat boss enemy

Once you step on the Jurakutei Citadel entrance node, the map will change. Please notice that once you’ve entered the Jurakutei Citadel, it is not possible to return to the outside part.

Shortcut[]

When you achieve the rank of [Excellent], the shortcut from Inner Capital (洛中) to Jurakutei Citadel (聚楽第本丸) will be accessible. To use the shortcut, you will need the Shortcut Key.

Battle[]

Special Investigation: Jurakutei is an event in which the main stage is Jurakutei, therefore there are a few limitations in battles.

Battles in Outer Capital (洛外), Inner Capital (洛中) and Jurakutei Interior (聚楽第内部):

  • Horses will not have any effect in battles

Battles in Jurakutei Citadel (聚楽第本丸):

  • Horses will not have any effect in battles
  • Ootachi and Naginata will only attack one unit
  • Long range attacks from archer and catapult troops will not occur. Only musketeers will maintain their long range attacks,
    • You can still equip archer and catapult troops, their status effects will take place but they will not launch their attacks.

Forced Retreat[]

You will be forced to retreat under the following conditions in battle:-

  • All party members withdraw from front line.
  • Party leader reaches severe damage.
  • Defeat in battle.
    • In the event you are forced to retreat, your action counter will return to 0.
    • When you enter the event again, you will start from last returning point.

Advancing During Severe Damage[]

In Special Investigation: Jurakutei, if you proceed after suffering severe damage, there is a chance that your sword will break. In the event you do proceed to the next node when you have swords with severe damage in your party, you cannot undo the choice so please beware.

Rank[]

After you clear the last boss in Jurakutei Citadel, you will be ranked by the Inspector. It is easier to get a better rank the more enemies you defeat in Jurakutei. The rankings are defined as follows:-

  • Good - Defeat the final boss in Jurakutei Citadel and a total of 0 to 299 enemies
  • Fail - Defeated at the final boss in Jurakutei Citadel

The defeated enemy counter is ACCUMULATIVE across runs until you obtain rank of [Excellent]

After being ranked, you will restart again at the 1st node of Outer Capital.

  • Total sum of enemies defeated will continue to be counted when you re-enter the event map
  • Once you obtain the rank of [Excellent], you will not be ranked again in the next round.
  • In other words, you can only obtain rank of [Excellent] ONCE. The special award for [Excellent] (Yamanbagiri Chougi) can only be obtained ONCE too.
