How to Play[]
General[]
- During the event, select the event banner on the Sorties page to access the event map.
- Event passes are required to participate in the Resistance Against the Great Invasion event. Each sortie uses up 1 pass. The maximum number of passes that can be stored is 6, and can be replenished with 1800 koban. 3 passes are automatically replenished for free every day at 5:00 and 17:00 JST.
Event Stages[]
- The event is broken up into 6 stages. Each stage consists of an individual wave, that every server is aiming to defeat.
- Red means disadvantaged.
- Orange means equal combat.
- Green means advantage.
- The aim of the event is to get all stages to Green at 100%.
- Each level (or colour) has two waves, the waves are distinguished by a red banner along the top ('Powerful Enemy Emerge'). This indicates wave 2.
- Once wave two of each colour has been defeated, it will then advance onto wave one of the next colour.
- Order is - Red wave 1 -> Red wave 2 -> Orange wave 1 -> Orange wave 2 -> Green wave 1 -> Green wave 2.
- When Green wave 2 has been defeated, it becomes Green wave 1 again, and stays that way until the waves are reset.
- Wave 2 for each colour has a harder difficulty and slightly more exp (as well as an increase to the score required for S rank).
- Wave 2 also contains the colossal enemies.
- Number of enemies within the waves are different. Wave 2 has slightly more.
- When Wave 2 begins for each colour, every player gains one free pass.
Event Battles[]
- The event battles consist of battle simulations of a continuous battle in which the enemies will repeatedly replace their fallen brethren. Only team 1 can be sortied, for which EXP will be gained based on the battle performance, and your team will be evaluated based on the amount of EXP gained.
- For each sortie into the event stages, battles will continue for a maximum of 10 turns. The number of turns remaining will be indicated on the top left of the game screen.
- Notes
- When the turn counter number is 1, the battle will end after that turn. 0 will not be displayed on the counter.
- The long-range attack phase will only occur on the first turn. It will not occur in the subsequent turns.
- Hakusan Yoshimitsu's "Godly Feat - The Power of Healing" can be triggered in the event to restore the HP of fallen swords.
Large Enemies[]
- During 'Wave 2' for each stage, 'Large Enemies' will appear within enemy teams.
- 'Large Enemies' are stronger than regular enemies and take up 3 spaces.
Support Attacks[]
- Teams 2, 3, and 4 will be deployed alongside Team 1 as support teams when you sortie in the event stages. Occasionally, during the event battles, the team leaders from Teams 2, 3 and 4 may perform "Support Attacks" towards the enemies.
- You can identify the status of your support teams at the Sortie Confirmation page.
- In the event there are several teams that are eligible to perform "Support Attacks", any of the team leaders may perform Support Attacks.
- When you deploy Team 2, 3, or 4, Support Attacks may be performed each turn, up until a rare maximum of a total of 10 Support Attacks.
- Use of the Strengthening Programme Tool - War Drum will guarantee a Support Attack to happen on the first turn of that sortie. On later turns, Support Attacks will occasionally happen.
- Support teams will not gain any EXP.
- Teams 2, 3 and 4 will not perform Support Attacks if they are deployed in the following conditions:-
- Teams on expeditions
- Teams with swords that are being repaired, performing (kiwame) training or are severely injured.
- The damage of the Support Attacks depends on the individual strength and level of the sword who is the team leader of the support team.
- It is possible to sortie Team 1 only, should you have no other team in formation.
Group Attack[]
- Occasionally, all six swords in Team 1 may perform a "Group Attack" against the enemies, where they attack the enemies all at once.
- New voice lines have been implemented for the team leader when a Group Attack occurs.
- A Group Attack can occur more than once per battle.
End of Sortie[]
Sorties in the event will be ended in the event any of the following occurs:
- Complete annihilation of all enemies
- All the swords of team 1 are incapacitated (pushed to the left)
- All the swords of team 1 lose all HP
- Reached the final turn (10) without defeating all the enemies
Experience Gain[]
- EXP for this event is gained based on your performance in battles, such as the total of damage dealt with the enemies or the number of times your swords managed to avoid being hit etc. EXP will be granted at the end of the sortie in accordance with your overall performance for that sortie.
- You will also be graded on a 4 stage tier based on the amount of EXP you obtained.
- The performing of Support Attacks and Group Attacks will also count towards your battle performance.
In the event any of your swords end up with the following conditions, they will only obtain half of the EXP gained:
- Incapacitated (pushed out of the battle i.e. to the left of the screen, even if they still have remaining HP)
- Lose all their HP
In the event the sorties end with the following conditions, the remaining turns recorded shall be considered "0":
