Recollections
Occasionally, when you bring certain swords together in a party to a certain area in Front Lines, a recollection (回想) event will occur. You can view these events again in your directory as many times as you’d like.
Certain recollections require a Kiwame sword to be unlocked. Most recollections will play for the first time once unlocked with swords in their Ubu no Sugata (i.e. not Kiwame) form, though they can still be unlocked if one or more swords involved are Kiwame. However, you will see a notice informing you a recollection has been unlocked in the Sword Library, rather than seeing the recollection occur.
Recollections cannot be unlocked in Event maps, even if their required area is "Anywhere."

Special Investigation: Jurakutei Event Scenes[]
You can re-access the Special Investigation: Jurakutei scenes by clicking the "Special Investigations" (特命調査) button on top right of Recollections tab. This tab will remain even after the Special Investigation: Jurakutei event ends.
- If you have not unlocked the scenes, you cannot access it.
- Once you obtain rank of [Excellent], the scenes will be unlocked except for some parts.
- For clarification's sake, this refers to Yamanbagiri Kunihiro and his kiwame. Owning Yamanbagiri Kunihiro and/or his kiwame will unlock two event scenes.
- The event scenes will be unlocked upon you obtaining Yamanbagiri Kunihiro and/or his kiwame even after the Special Investigation: Jurakutei ends.

Special Investigation: Bunkyuu Tosahan Event Scenes will be unlocked once you fulfill certain requirements.
- If you have not unlocked the scenes, you cannot access them.
- If you do not have Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki or his kiwame during the Special Investigation: Bunkyuu Tosahan event, all the related event scenes will not be unlocked. However, the Special Investigation: Bunkyuu Tosahan Event Scenes will be unlocked upon you obtaining Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki and/or his kiwame even after the Special Investigation: Bunkyuu Tosahan event ends.

Great Invasion Event Scenes[]
Great Invasion recollections will be unlocked from the Counter-Invasion Strengthening Programme - Middle Stage event on once you fulfill certain requirements.
- At the start of the Counter-Invasion Strengthening Programme - Middle Stage event, you are prompted to select a starter to progress the story with. You cannot change this character midway through the event.
- You cannot access event recollections for the other starters until the Great Invasion event ends.
- If the starter you have chosen has not reached kiwame during the Great Invasion event, you cannot access the event scenes for the kiwame form of your chosen starter. You also cannot access scenes for the kiwame form of other starters after the Great Invasion event ends. However, the Great Invasion recollections will be unlocked upon you obtaining your chosen starter's kiwame even after the Great Invasion event ends.
