実際に斬ったのは火鉢の足だ。
考えてみれば、時政殿にしろ、泰時殿にしろ、得宗家の歴代は、
謀略の限りを尽くし、時頼殿もまたその中で当主となった。
その心に、己を蝕む闇がなかったとは到底言えないだろう。
ならば、この錆の正体は……。

Unlike other demon-felling swords, I slew an Oni that appeared in someone's dream.
What I slew in reality was the leg of a brazier.
Thinking about it, whether it be Tokiyori-dono, or Yasutoki-dono, during the time of the Tokuso,
while devising every possible scheme, Tokiyori-dono became the head amid all that.
One can't say there was no smidge of darkness eating away at his heart.
In that case, the true identity of this rust is...
