つよくなるために、ぼくはきょうのみやこへとやってきました。
なつかしのきょうのみやこ。みるものすべてがむかしみたそのままです。
たのしくなってしまって、あたりをはしりまわっていたら、あるひとをみつけました。
だれかわかりますか？　せいかいは、よしつねこう！　まさかまたあえるなんておもいませんでした！

Dear Master,
In order to grow stronger, I have come to the capital of Kyou.
The nostalgic Kyoto. Everything I saw was just the same as before.
I was so happy, I started running around the area when I happened to spot someone.
Do you know who it was? The correct answer is Lord Yoshitsune! I can't believe I'd be able to see him ever again!

あるじさまへ
いまぼくは、よしつねこうのとうひこうにいっしょについていっています。
もちろん、このあとおこることをぼくはしっています。
そして、そのれきしをまもらなければいけないことを。
でも、せめてさいごにおそばにいるくらいはゆるしてもらえますよね。
。。。でもきになることがあります。よしつねこうがもっているかたなのなかに、ぼくがいないんです。
ぼくのおもいでと、ちがうんです。いったい、なにがおこってるんでしょうか。

Dear Master,
I am now following Lord Yoshitsune's exodus.
Of course, I know what is going to happen after this.
As well as the fact that I have to protect this history.
But, I think I can be forgiven for staying by his side until the end at least.
...However there is something that bothers me. I am not among the swords brought by Lord Yoshitsune.
According to my memories, it's different. I wonder what on earth is going on?

あるじさまへ
よしつねこうがなくなられました。だいたいは、ぼくのしっているとおりに。
ちがうところはひとつ。よしつねこうが、まもりがたなの今剣をもっていなかったということ。
ぼくはしってしまいました。
ぼくは、ほんとうはそんざいしないかたなだったんですね。
でも、そんなぼくがいられるばしょがひとつだけありました。あるじさまのところです。
これからかえります。ぼくは、あるじさまだけのためのかたな。それがわかったから。

Dear Master,
Lord Yoshitsune has passed away. It was more or less the same as I remember.
There was only one thing that was different. Lord Yoshitsune did not own a mamorigatana known as Imanotsurugi.
It was then that I found out.
In truth, the sword that I am never truly existed in the first place.
But, even for a sword like me, I still have a place I can call home. And that is at Master's place.
I will be returning now. Because I now understand. I am the sword that exists just for Master.
