Casual Outfit

Beginning in August 2019, casual outfits became available for purchase for 50,000 koban in the Casual Outfit tab in Backgrounds. These show up on the Citadel screen and are purely an aesthetic choice; they do not provide any benefit during gameplay.

Currently, new illustrations for a few swords are scheduled to be released near the end of each month.

Below is a list of swords that have received casual outfits.

Yukata

So far all of the outfits available for purchase are yukata: lightweight, comfortable kimono that are usually cotton and unlined. In modern times, yukata are worn primarily for festivals and in traditional settings like ryokan and/or hot springs.

References are made to the Ginza Motoji Shop - the male kimono department, which cooperated with and advised Nitroplus during the planning stage of each design to make sure the depictions of Japan's traditional kimono culture were accurate.

Casual Outfits can be purchased using 50,000 Koban or 1 Tailor Ticket (仕立券) from the [軽装入手] tab in the Collection (収集) menu.

How to Use

To equip the Casual Outfit onto a sword, click on the gear icon on the upper-right corner to access the Attendant menu. On the Attendant menu, you have the option to switch between a sword's Battle Outfit, Internal Affairs Outfit, and Casual Outfit.
