Armory success

For other equipment types please visit Equipment

The Armory, accessed by the [刀装] button on the right hand side of the main page, is where you can create troops.

These soldiers vary in nature and quality depending on the amount and ratio of material used, just like when forging swords. Each type of troop provides certain stat boosts in battle, and some are capable of dealing damage to the enemy prior to the main battle. They also serve as HP buffs, taking hits from the enemies. When the party returns to HQ, troops that have been dealt partial damage are instantly healed, but completely obliterated troops are gone forever.

Unlike Forging, creating these soldiers takes no time at all.

Creating Troops[]

Although there is not much information on what determines the success rate / quality of troops other than RNG, there have been some trends.[1]

  • Using more material generally tends to get better results.
  • Based on experimental data, it has been found that the sword leader, their level, and their Fatigue status have little to no effect on the results of creating troops.
    • This chart (slightly outdated) has data that relates the leader to the type of troops made.

Create 10 Troops[]

Create 10 troops button

You can create 10 troops at once with Create Troops x10 function. If there are enough resources, 10 troops will be created according to the inputted resources.

  • If the Create Troops x10 function is used on an all 50 recipe, then 500 of each resource will be used.
  • If there aren't enough resources, the function will not work.

When using ofuda with Create Troops x10, it will guarantee that all 10 troops are succesfully created. Additionally, ofuda guarantees gold troops. The amount of golden troops produced depends on the type of ofuda used.

The ofuda type and corresponding quantities are as follow:

  • Plum: 2 gold troops
  • Bamboo: 4 gold troops
  • Pine: 6 gold troops
  • Fuji: 10 gold troops

Recipes[]

Below are several recipes you may use to create specific troops, but keep in mind that because these recipes are based off of experimental data, they may not be 100% accurate. The recipes are chosen based on a combination of rate of obtaining the indicated troop, rate of obtaining a gold rank troop, and the sample size of data (to minimize statistical error).

Unlike smithing, you may fail while creating troops. According to experimental data, on average, there is a ~5% chance of failing.

Statistically speaking, light infantry and light cavalry are by far the most commonly created troops.

Dismantling Troops[]

Like the Forge, there is also a menu on the right side labeled [刀装解体] where you can destroy extra soldiers to gain a small number of resources.

To dismantle multiple troops at once, click on the type of troops you want to dismantle. Use the slider to select amount of troops for multiple dismantling. Click the red button at the bottom after making sure of your selection.
