Is it worth it to forge by 10? I don’t have a lot of resources right now but it seems like it’s not bad time-wise. Should i save resources to forge by 10 or just keep doing it one at a time. I’ve not tried yet because last time i played was when english version shut down so it wasn’t a feature yet.

Hiya! I'm wondering what Attendant BGM I should trade-in for. I've never traded for BGM before! I know that these instruments will go away, so I figured I'd trade-in while I can.

I have 12 Fue, 7 Koto, 9 Shamisen, 3 Taiko, and 4 Suzu. So, I could get at least two or so, generally.

Hi, not sure if anyone is interested, but I have made subtitles for the later Touken Ranbu stage plays.

I made them as a personal project for myself, so I could enjoy them with friends (Summer, Reimei and Kiden are also near completion).

But was urged by friends to make them freely available to others, as the plays themselves are amazing, and I couldn't find subtitles on the internet.

My hope is that others find them useful, because I can't overstate how incredible the Winter and Summer productions are. The stage is a ring that fully rotates 360° with the audience sat in the middle. And the projection work and choreography is as good as it always is with the stage productions.

I'm thinking I can eliminate Ookanehira & Hanjin - since they can drop. Other than that, I think I should save (1) trade-in for Hakusan, so that I have a Tsurugi? Other than that, I'm not sure at all (and that would leave (3) possibilities),

On the EN server, I prev had Buzen, Chatannakiri, Kuwana, Sanchoumou, Chiganemaru, Nikkou, Samidare, Ichimonji, Murakumo, and Himetsuru - so I was debating even trying for those at all, since I obv got them once before? But I know a handful of those were events/campaigns (like all the Gou handful, for ex).

That would leave Nukemaru, Minamoto, Kokindenjunotachi, Jizou, Taikou, and then obv Hakusan.

CHOICES (swords I do not have):

• Possible Drop: Ookanehira, Hanjin

• Tsurugi: Hakusan Yoshimitsu

I'm wondering what strategy people have, or what recipe they go with, once all those smithable have been attained?

With this latest event, and my latest 10-batch, I actually got my final smithable sword (Kenshin!).

So, I was curious as to the best strategy?

I have full-Ranbu level of most of my Toushirou/Tantous, for example, though it's not like that offers much other than collections or requirements (for events like this one, ex).

The next thing I thought of was perhaps smithing those that provide Attack (Impact)/Leadership points to build those up (since Duties (Internal Affairs) is the only place for that).

Alright, I've read through the Iko Maps and Treasures pages, and I just feel like an idiot, because it's difficult to tell if I'm actually achieving anything, let alone getting drops?

I don't see anything pop up, nothing in my inventory; but I've grinded a dozen times this morning, for example, and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. Granted, I've only completed the first map. So, I'm not expecting much, I just don't want to be inefficient, either.

But holycow, these are difficult, haha. I have L84 Waki/Tantou (+ (2) KL35+) and L70 all/everything else (except Tsuguri), and am still having to go home and repair after just one battle on the second map. I am def not going to be able to get through it/the others any time soon.

I have been trying to get a Nagi, so that I could get through E3. Specifically, I've been trying for Iwatooshi. But I just saw that there's multiple 5:00s, and I am ecstatic!

Does anybody know what the Red Triangle (at the top of the battle sims) says? It changes with each battle, it seems. But I cannot quite tell if it's saying what the battle conditions are, or something else.

Ahh! I was super happy with this pull! I feel like it was my best one, yet! I got (5) new boys! (I used the 900 Tachi recipe, fwiw).

I don't know if it was this "good" when I was on EN, but I feel like I've done really well for just starting a week ago!

I had (89) swords, and had just (semi-) recently gotten Hacchou, Inaba, Sasanuki, Ichimonji, Himetsuru, Sanchoumou, and Daihannya, Ookanehira, and Jikkyuu - the last (2) of which in June (when I stopped playing, after the announcement),

Now, I already have (42) swords! Sure, I won't be able to get those limited ones I had before, but I'm not doing so bad. It doesn't feel as bad as I thought it would, when I thought about having to start over. Even the fact that I no longer have the (4) slots for repair, and other QOL upgrades doesn't hurt as bad as I thought it would, heh.

I'm sure I'll be frustrated as I level, and especially as I Kiwame - as I'm definitely low on those supplies compared to before; and it'll take that much longer, either way.. but I'm hopeful. I think that's what shocks me most, is that I'm excited, heh.

I hope I'm not jinxing it or speaking out of turn, haha.

I cannot remember how to unlock the 3rd and 4th slots for Repair and/or Smithing - I wasn't sure if DMMP was the only way, basically. As I could've sworn I traded koban at one point, but it was so long ago.

Hello, is there a translation application/extension that anybody has that would work? Especially if there's an overlay option. Everything I've found requires an actual application (rather than a browser) game, or being able to copy/paste text; neither of which would really work for this - either the mobile app or the browser gameplay. So, I was just curious if anybody had something that worked. I wanted to use it during events (like the one going on), for the pages and explanations that I don't already know/understand.

So... I'm not really familiar with this event bc I kind of new to this. Most of my toudans are still 60-70 lvl and everytime I finished a floor (during floor 60+) i had to go back to honmaru. So going back and forth is kinda tiring and bc of that I don't think I've ever reached floor 70+ during a couple past UTC events

I'm actually curious are there actually tips on sword types/level recommendations for each floors or any tips on leveling during this event... all this time I only focused on uchis, tantous, wakis for the events ((bc cough cough underground cough small areas lmao)). I dont know if sword types actually be affected. So yeah, one or two tips would be nice. Thanks!

Why does the English version of the game have to end if the servers can be merged and an option to toggle between English and Japanese is used in a new International version? That way the community isn't separated, server costs are cut down, and a larger audience can enjoy Touken Ranbu ONLINE. If I'm not mistaken the only difference between the EN and JP version is the text. It's not overburdensome to localize a few lines of text for new updates and events especially if the game is popular in multiple regions.

I've been trying to access the game on desktop with setupvpn connected, but I keep getting an error that says "this isn't available in your region" even though I'm connected to the Japan vpn;;

The vpn is working on other sites, so has DMM changed their site? Is anyone else having this issue?

This is devastating. All this time and energy, after rallying to get an English server.. we finally get one.. and now, after two years, it's being pulled out from under us. And we cannot transfer data. And right after this event *and* sword launch. This is just frustrating.

And because downsizing service? Does that mean another company can take over service? Can we replace Johren? This is so disappointing.

I just downloaded the mobile app to be able to play when I'm not home or even when I'm using the computer. I was so excited to get back to the grind. Now I'm just done.

So, if anybody has any recs for another game to play instead, I'd gladly take them. I just started Persona, so gonna go down that rabbit hole, esp since there isn't gacha stuff like this. But I'd love something with historic lore, if you've got it.
